Replacement badges

This isn't very "technical" but I wasn't sure where to post my question!

Our T25 autohomes komet conversion is missing all it's badges. According to the DVLA paperwork it started out as a caravelle. What should the badge on the right hand side of the tailgate say? Transporter or Caravelle? :?

Cheers, Rachel

[Apologies if this post appears twice, it disapeared on me first time round]

Well ...Mine says caravelle on the log ....but

it's not.

most conversions came from panel vans or Transporters

A quick tell tale are the windows caravelles have large factory fitted windows on the sides and the rubbers are flush.
I'm sure someone will point out the other differences

Cheers everyone. I've been on Brickyard and our van has 252 code making her a transporter not a caravelle. I'll start looking at the scrappies for a badge.

I wonder why our log books say caravelle on the logs Kev? :?

I have a spare `scirocco' badge that you can have, that'll confuse them!!

Mine just has volkswagen, most people seem to know what it it is!

E bay usually has a few options at any given time.

Kev, tks very much for the link to The Brickyard, now I know.
I inherited some number plates with my camper ..M MA 5235.. with a Bayern Munchen badge and the EU logo over the letter D. Any ideas as to how I may be able to refine my van's birthday search?
And, where did the title of Transporter come from, the direct German translation being a panel van?
Talking of which, to the right of the cooker is a sign in German which I am working on, but something or other ...ist verboten!!
I'm gettiing worried, I get that feeling I'm turning into an anorak.
Thanks.

Transporter means just that ...it transports ...people, goods, with or without windows in it.

The sign to the right of your cooker probably advises you to have a window or rooflight open wile your using it and that it is "verboten" to use it as a heater
