I'm getting my engine changed from DF to DG next week and want to get a new clutch fitted, how can I tell if I have 215mm or 228mm ?

It's 1989 DF running 4 speed box, do I need to find a g/box code?

Clutch size

Surely the guys changing the engine will discover what size is fitted/needed once the motor is removed ,,,,,,,,? unless you have x-ray eyes you will never know.

Regards

Fritz,,,,,,,,,, :D

ok, thought it might refer to which gearbox, I'll supply both and get a credit for the one I don't use

According to ETOS all the petrols take the same clutch which is listed as 228MM, 215mm is for diesel

Ermmm ... GSF Coventry thought there were 2, phone them with your VIN number and they'll be able to tell which it is.

Quelle surprise ! ours (89 F reg) was the larger and more expensive.
