Can the 1.9DG carb and manifold and airfilter be fitted to a 2.0cu Aircooled, I am thinking of having an LPG conversion and my weber 34ict carbs may cause a problem, I have asked gassure about the webers, but maybe this is another answer?

Not without a lot of hassle... ans the ICTs shuldnt cause any issue as far as I am aware... big bonus over the worn old solexes...

 CD, on the list of things to do... things have been a bit bonkers here!!! you dont want to know...

icts can be troublesome to set up. you will need a visit to a rolling rd as the jet sizes are normally way off. two of my mates fitted em and had a mare. one burnt a piston as the jets were way too small. try
www.raceshack.co.uk
they will tell you all you need to know chap.
just a further note, there is no real perfomance gain with the icts, and iirc steve shaw has gas converted dellortos which give you a useful boost in performance.

Thanks for the replies, I have not had any trouble with the ICTs but my problem is the air filters. I dont know what is involved in feading the lpg through the carbs, after it has vaporised. Is it a question of just a pipe into the centre of the carb venturi that meters out the required amount ? I really need this explaining so I can get my head round it. Will speak to Gasure soon on the matter. me thinks. Also at present I am only using dirty warm air from the engine bay as I cant fit the T25 square central filter arrangement as the throttle linkage for the ICTs is in the way. So silly chrome filters are at present employed and I dont like them!

HI CD,
my a/c had weber 40's on them....and Pete from Gasure managed to fit the LPG to them and get them to work. Although his opinion of them as a replacement to the solexes, and there relevance on a 2l a/c couldn't be uttered in polite circles. The MPG was rubbish (they were too big) and I returned them to standard, and sold the carbs on to someone who wanted them for what they were designed for.....throwing soemthing vehicular around!

Good luck,
Emma
