We decided to go on a little trip. We were okay until the little puddle in front had not bottom in it
We got stuck
No second vehicle
No charge in mobile phone
But we did have a new Jack and a new shovel

Didn't the kids help - I expect Pete was dying for a drink after all that exertion!

Oh, my Father's Day was spent cutting hedges and grass then watching Lewis Hamilton win his second Grand Prix

The driver was in need of liquid refreshment and as luck may have it a useful local tavern was 1/2 mile away!
I'm not sure if Pete needed a drink for relief or replenish his hydration or display the mud
I drove back along the lane and Oh we didn't get stuck
Nice lane though considering Northants is pretty un-interesting.
