now and then on e-bay you see genuine vw manuals on disc [pdf format] for less than a fiver, probably not copyright friendly, but damn useful!
over 900 pages, very detailed, worth looking out for covers all engines. some info contradicts stuff in the haynes, which is not infallible. got one a while back, but my roxio copying software won't copy it for some reason

Ask around and find someone who can make you a copy of Bentley CD. I'd make you one from mine, but it got scratched and doesn't work anymore. Coping is bad enough, but selling copies is just plain wrong!

Just campers do one which is very good.
