Engine swap

Hi i have a dieing 1985 1.9dg watercooled, doing a straight swap for a replacement second hand 1.9dg. Any tips/guidance/advice regarding the swap over?
Any advice appreciate.
Hopefully it will run on all 4, retain some oil, and have a bit of pull in a weeks time!
