can you hear the locking mechanism click on the passenger door when you lock/unlock the drivers door.is the lift up/push down catch on the passenger door still connected to the lock.this was not connected on mine when i bought it.i re connected it and its been ok since.can you unlock the passenger door with the key.....

Do the other doors lock and unlock from the drivers door?
(slider and tail gate are slave units only and wont lock unlock the drivers or passenger door.
The Solenoid units are fairly simple but the springs tend to rust stopping the lock unlock signals.
Be careful the solenoid units are a little fragile (my tailgate one was broken)

Check conections in drivers door.So much gubbins in there sometimes the window in its up & down travels pull a wire or two off. I have to do mine a couple of times a year
I will get round to doing a proper job one day.
