Viewed from inside on the move particulary, theres a distinct and draughty gap vertically at rear of the door
where it (should) meet rear van,

where can i readjust,
if thats the right place to start

can you take a pic of the inside showing tha gap might help better indicat it ??? i would start by looking at the rubber seal ??? is it old worn out fattend etc ive got a gap at the bottom edge of mine and i just look at it as i fresh air vent !!!

Maybe your door has dropped on it's runners. You may need to either replace the rollers or maybe just lift it on the adjusters.
It may also just be that the door isn't closing fully due to the striker post on the door frame (rear) needs adjusting.
Haynes manual explains it quite well.

Sorry, couldn't help it.

Try loosening the post (15mm ring spanner) and you'll find it can be moved in a circle. Mark it's original position with a pencil or something. Move it outwards but also keep it to the top of the circle. Tighten it and try closing the door. If the door looks like it is outside the body line then it is too far out.
The post needs to be pretty tight when you're done.



Oh yeah, it is also possible that the door catch mechanism is fooked in which case it will need replacing.

If we were aware of where you were located, maybe, just maybe, some kind member could suggest you pop over and they will have a look

Well I went and marked its position with a pencil,
loosend it all off and re pinched it up, at the topmost part of its position.

But no its not made that much difference TBH,

the gap that appears at top of this door, with a little outward pressure of my hand is much the same.

Might be a job for further investigation I suspect,
funnily enough when I locked myself out of it and called out Autohome to break in, he was saying its seals and door fitment
(apart from slide) was remarkable really given its age

oh well

if there is a gap at the rear , you want to loosen the striker bolt thingy off again and move it IN (towards the interior of the van) NOT up.moving it up will lift the door and give you pissed gaps at top/bottom i had exactly same prob and cured it in 3 minutes!

Had same problem on passenger side slider on mine , there was a slight dent on the door & at first i thought previous owner had distorted the door. Upon inspection in found exactly what ELVIS said & Bobs ur Aunty, twas fixed..Long live ELVIS..
