Auto-sleeper - how much weight in top bed?

I have an '81 autosleeper with solidside poptop and the u-shaped seating arrangement. My plan for an upcoming festival weekend is that 2 of us will sleep in van, and one in the awning (all adults)..BUT..if it's as cold as it has been, I think there will be tears before bedtime and they wont be mine
Now me and my friend have squidged in with her lightweight 9 year old before now, but despite my fellas enthusiasm I really dont think me, he and my mate will have a very comfy night if we try and sqeeze 3 adults in the downstairs bed so...
I know the bed uptop is short, but how much weight do you think it will actually hold? opinions please?!

my 15 stone and 6 foot 2 other half has slept in it when in desperate need of warmth whilst me and 2 toddlers sleep in comfort below.
The only major complaint he has is that when he rolls over he bangs shoulder on the roof.....
but has slept up there without bringing the whole lot down onto me and the toddlers....

we range between 5'7 and 6', and 11 - 13 stone, so should be fine for any of us by the sounds of it!

My other half regularly sleeps up there, as does his friend (on seperate occasions of course). I'm sure the pop will hold an average sized adult sleeping diagonally! Auto sleepers are conversions of quality after all!

Aaah yes not wanting to disappoint...
The bed boards are of very strong plywood no paper or weetabix there.
two 15 year olds up have slept up there
as you will find that throughout the vans furniture it is such good quality that after twenty odd years it still looks good and not a rattle or creak to be heard
Heaven knows what they would cost to build now!

I think you could safely load it to 25stone, the only thing to look out for is severe rocking when the 'upstairs' occupants turn over.
