Less ooomph on LPG

The van has been a bit lumpy recently on LPG and feels like it's missing especially when at the lower rev range of each gear. It also hesitates for a few seconds before setting off in 1st and seems to be spluttery first thing in the morning
So I've been running it on petrol for the last week and the problems have vanished. It seems to run so much better and I don't have to be going as fast to use different gears.
i.e. 2nd gear struggled to get the van going when I'd slowed down for a mini-roundabout (but didn't need to stop) when using LPG but with petrol no power problem. Same in 3rd and 4th where I don't need to be going as fast to change up without a power loss.
The van was last set up forLPG last September and the only thing I messed with was a little teeny weeny tweak a few weeks afterwards to get the MPG up a tickle.
The vans a 1.9DG with recent leads and brand new dizzy and rotor arm.
Obviously I'll be contacting Steve about running the van past him but if I can bottom it without the need to travel there the better for me and Steve's time.
