OK 5 deg at 950rpm no vacuum

what degree at 950 vac conected

what degree at 3000 rpm vac conected...can you see what I'm getting at?

I suppose its an advance curve I want isn't it?

There is a post somewhere with the mech advance... but asking for the vac gets complicated... throttle position /load etc... is the vac actually working??
part throttle cruising will see a large vac advance...

DG or DJ dizzy?... seems they have different curves also...

it's a DG I'm just curious as to the advance curve on a stationary engine..

the unit is being replaced due to a punctured diaphragm...and I have a new fangled strobe with degree values on it. As I said just curious

:D

Youll be able to work it out then.....
do it without vac and then do it with... see what happens...
Trouble is its actually a lot different under load... the throttle opening at 3000 stationary will be tiny compared to any throttle when moving...
