Okay, had my fun with it, almost done what i needed it for, not in a rush to sell but it is here if anyone wants a right truck....

1991 VW T3 1.6TD syncro single cab pick up in white.

It's done 133k.

It has....

twin diff locks in good order.
New discs and pads.
new wishbone bushes.
new, polyurethane track control arm bushes.
new radius rod bushes.
4 new OEM ball joints.
8 new CV joints (including HD rears)
New VC
Suspension lift and soon to be fitted adjustable rear longer dampers, 13.5" of ground clearance.
Full service.
Gearbox and diff oil change.
coolant change, new cap and fan switch.
new cambelt and tensioner.
new clutch.
new truck mirrors.
new rear brake backplates.
rebuilt injectors.
some new injector lines
rebuilt injection pump.
new exhaust manifold gaskets.
tonnau cover.
2 sets of wheels, 215/75/15 Colway MT's on silver merc steels and a set of 195/14 road tyres.
front fogs fitted.
headlamp wahser grill, have tank and that, not got around to fit it yet.
vw alpha radio.
brand new CB and antenna.
3 seats in a clean interior.
all on one key, with glovebox lock, new fuel cap and locking engine lid.
tow bar.
50w reverse lights.
work lamp to rear of cab.
anti roll bar removed, but supplied.
body is good, to be 100% it wants painting but it is far better than most syncro's on the road.

I would have no qualms about selling this to a trades person to put it back into service as i know it will give years of service.

Personal sale, nowt to do with garage, it's been our toy.

probably loads I have forgotten, I bought it straight out of service and it wanted a fair bit of loving it has to be said, it has had everything it has needed and some it didn't!

Price, not cheap but considering it has just about all the things replaced that everyone moans about (CV joints, VC, clutch etc) I think it's value for money.

Ring for price, not gunna start the rumour mill going, some know how much I paid, others have actually seen how much work and how many late nights have gone into bringing it back into a useable, reliable state.

Nice van! Only interested to know what kind of Merc rims are from? C Class? what offset (ET)?

Some merc or other, dunno. they matched and the width and offset were right.

As Si says.. this truck is ""cock" on"... lots of effort has gone into making this a good reliable truck...

Merc rims prob C class, ET 31.. ET 37 go on apparently, but 31's best..

It's running 6mm spacers to correct the offset, well, bring it closer to 30 anyway, I think them must me ET 37 if I have done that.
just trying to make it a bit steadier on the road if I have raised it, if that makes sence!

Thanks for your answers,

Here is hard to get the correct rims for my van, The most of the Mercs sold here are installed with alloys from factory... I will keep on trying.

By the way a guy here is selling his Syncro van and I saw the rims:

(Merc symbol) and then 124 400 1202 he has not installed any spacer...

From a W124 I think
