The leaisure batteries (2X)
are about an Inch or so too high to allow seats to safely pass over them,

I've had them apart to inspect the underside
but there appears to be a substantial tube
holding base of seat back rigid at its base thats catching batteries.

anyone else had this, and is it fixable?

eyup duck,i had same problem,my swivel seat hit the battery,so i welded a piece of 1" box in to lift it up,solved the problem and it feels like a better position to me......me belly fits over the wheel now!!!!!!!!!
