Out of interest,
on colder nights towards end of season, do any of you
leave propex/eber/other
heaters on overnight
would it eat the battery on low fan,

would the heater kick in & out overnight

I'm Sure I've done nights out in trucks, and left it
ticking over all night.

Just a thought

Hi HM
In common with many we have a propex and this goes on and stays on, the stat calls for heat as required, not very accurate but does a job so to speak, Its run from the leisure bank and it(propex) is very voltage sensitive, so dont worry if/when your battery gets low the propex will cease to run, the fan will run on cooling but the unit will not ignite,

Just make sure you have it wired throuugh your leisure and not from the main battery

|Safety wise, no probs if its been fitted correctly

Yes I've discovered the value of decent source of Volts.

When I took the van over, I thought there a fault with heater
(Truma)
as it failed to ignite despite fan working,

and bottle of gas

it took a brand new battery to make it work
(oh' and some tidying up of dubious wiring)

theres a small credit card sized monoxide gauge
although it seems a bit canary-in-a-cage

whats a good battery powered alarm anybody?
