Hi,

Having a few problems getting the gas to run smoothly, done about 1000 miles since the conversion, but there are still a couple of teething problems.

Does anyone else with a 1.9DG know roughly what settings they are running, i.e. 5 1/4 turns from closed on the gas level etc.

The van runs fine on motorway traffic, a little slower than petrol, however it has trouble holding speed when you need to decellerate and then accellerate again, which makes overtaking lorries interesting.

The van also has trouble starting up, the engine turns over great on gas, but the van can't pull away. I thought I was running lean at first but I'm only getting 180-230km to a tank.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Talk to your installer, namely Pete, if its not set up properly he needs to look at it, do not under any circumstances adjust anything without his say so otherwise you will void your warranty, I have sent you an email I need to talk with you urgently, please contact me.
