Hi folks

Does anyone have any links to good campsite websites, and is it worth joining the Camping & caravan club?

Cheers in advance

Both of the above sites are excellent and the Camping & Caravanning Club is worth the membership

As matt said above. Our funplace2b campsite website has been designed for people on here to recomend their fave campsites. You can see who has recomended it and why, and once you've visited it you can post a review.
There is also a POI file you can download for your gps system too :)
Not only that, I'll let you have a free sticker if you register a site

There's lots of very good campsites around the country, my favourite ones so far have been:-

- Clippesby Hall (Clippesby, Norfolk - this campsite is simply superb)
- Back of Beyond (St. Leonards, Dorset)

Both of these can be looked up via the www.ukcampsites.co.uk website.

My worst ones have been so far:-

- Fishery Creek (Hayling Island - too overcrowded, next to a rubbish dump)
- Honeybridge Park (West Sussex - a bit regimented for my liking)

It also may be worth looking at magazines such as Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome. I think there's also an AA book (as well as others) on campsites as well available from places like Amazon and other book shops.

Hi we are in the camping club which is good for sites, they have weekend meets which are a handy base for exploring.

Caravan club have loads of small CL - Club Listed sites which are v basic but tucked away and really cheap. Bonus is someone has set them up for tomtom :)

Cheers
