As there seem to be a couple of things going on in the other tyre thread I'll start one here, post if you want to be part of a group purchase for colway tyres. I think this was done before, does anyone know how many we need to get to make it worthwile for a discount? Lets get the numbers /flavours of tyre (yuch) together first add this thread if you want to be part of it.
so far:
Hacksawbob
4 of colway MTs 215/75/15 (in new year)
Harrymann:
If anyone is thinking of ordering 15" Machos or Attacamas, I'm looking for another 2 Machos
Big Blue bus:
2nd set of something more extreme(atacamas or possibly chacos) to use at syncro events in the new year
Thomas Hell:
I could do with a couple more Atacamas
Syncrostan:
Could be looking for 4 Colway mt,s if this helps a group buy.

Hi Bob,
I organised this before, ended up buying about 40 tyres from Mark Sowden, saved about £1 a tyre, but had to pay for carriage. bonus being, delivery to one place so split the £15-20 (I think it was) delivery cost.
Worth doing if there is a meet to pass them all out at!

Hacksaw Bob, I've been in contact with 'Sowden Tyres' and 'Direct Tyres' over the last week and I was initially told that Colway have had some trouble obtaining 15" carcasses for production of the Greenway range, and consequently are unavailable at present.
Following this,I was contacted this morning to be told production is up and running again and the Greenway's are now available, although I feel it would be worth checking stocks before attempting to place a large order as the production batch may not be in too large a quantity.
'Direct Tyres' are owned by the Colway company themselves and are obviously competitive on their own brand, although 'Mark' of Sowden Tyres informs me that he will not be beaten on price.
I have already placed an order on 5 machos, sorry I couldn't be part of the bulk order but we're off to Scotland playing over Christmas and we needed them urgently.
I hope this info is of some help, Jenko.

I *possibly* could be interested in a set of MTs. Depends on whether funds permit when the order is put in. If its anytime soon though, count me out.
Cheers,
Sam.

I may be looking for around May time, but may be able to scrape together enough mid feb. would be best for sorting for an event as we can benefit from the single delivery charge, and maybe a fitting flat rate.
