got to be a breaker job surely? by the time you've found something that is chunky enough not to kink you be as well to get one designed for the purpose. Maybe Steve shaw was a length of reinforced rubber tubing for you?

The oil breather tube on my 2.1dj caused problems when it collapsed on itself. So do it right!!
I used a length of reinforced clear garden hose, that just happened to be the right diameter.

No problem ith heat so far I guess time will tell.
The breater on the 2.1 is only about 8" long, so I dont think it gets too hot or deform much.

Hi - we bought a brand new rubber one for the 1.9 - £17 from local VW supplier (not dealership). Think we need the same part for the 2.1 as it is running with the car, not the injectors.

used black waste tube on mine from my local caravan place. ribbed on the outside so the oil does not build up inside. goes brittle after a couple of years but at £2 a metre its cheap.
