Hi to you all

My first post. Finally came back to the VW scene after 10 years absence.

I have purchased a 1.9 caravelle 1986. I am trying to get all the locks on one key. Replaced all locks easily. Problem is the ignition.

How the hell do you get inside to pop the old one out. Any hints, tips or advice would be great!

as far as I'm aware its a sealed unit, so re key the door locks to your ignition key. ooops too late, I might be wrong about this though I think Simon at brickyard does a rekey service.

I know how to do this, but when I tried to ask for similar advice after my son had lost keys in irish sea there was an perhaps understandably subdued response.

Is there a moderator line on key security advice, or rather was there?
