Washer bottle/motor

any ideas where the motor is fitted for the washer bottle. mine has decided to only work intermittently, and i hope its the motor and not the switch on the stalk!! I hope irts just some crap in the motor as I ran it out yesterday and it was fine til then. Nick.

Lecee pump is fitted in recess on side of washer bottle..

just to add more help it's an a*** to work on! especially if like mine the water hose is too short and the wires only just reach when the tank is in situ! if it is the stalk, which also happened to mine, take off the steering column cover and you;ll be able to see the contacts, checkthey are meeting, if not see if you can bend it back to the right place! fixed mine! but new ones are avail quite cheap! good liuck!!

thanx guys! muchly appreciated. I am thinking it could be the stalk now, as when i pull on it really hard the washers do squirt after a fashion! I will have a go at removing the column cover and have a look at the contacts.

my washers only work when the wipers are on second speed,but ill be dammed if i can remember if they have always been like that.should the washers work even when the wipers arnt going

as far as I can remember, the squirters worked regardless of whether or not the wipers were a wiping!
