just reading http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/VehicleSpec ... ltwhls.htm

If therefore I want to fit some wheels with et 50 I'll need a 20mm to bring the et to 30

is this correct? thanks

or a 10mm spacer as you can happily go to 39 and 40 even as that would be closest to steel wheels

30 is OK as that was the ET for Alloys factory fitted

It depends of width/diameter of said wheel.

I aim for ET30 as the wheel will stick further out well away from suspension.
If the rims are 15", 16" or any wider that 7.5" on a 17" rim you will get problems at much more than ET30.

stupid question im sure, but do you mean et 35 is more. The wheels Ive found ar et 50 6.5j 16. was thinking that a 20mm spacer will sort them out and fit them well

Thanks

More in this case would be a larger number, larger ET, wheel further in
