This is the spec from a charger i've got my eye on. Will it be any good for keeping my batteries topped up i.e on site with hook up and to charge batteries that are are flat (12v ones like on the van)

... that might be a problem. Most folks seem to have leisure batteries that are a bit bigger than that.

Everything else looks spot on though.

Not enough capacity for the batts. look at the thread about "westy battery charging" that Irish Dave posted the photos and details of fitting a new 3 stage charger to a Westy (same type charger will do for any camper fitment)

I just did mine, replaced the OE Westy fixed-output charger with a new 3 stage charger, works great.
