My 1983 2wd caravelle is belived to have the heavy duty suspension pack, which gives a higher payload.
Does anyone else have this option?
I am after the weight stamped on the plate inside the door.. my bus doesnt have any weights on it and I have to get a certificate of conformity to register in France.. I need the weights to get the cert.

The handbook states certain weights for this that and the other.. but I want to try and confirm from another vehicle what the numbers are..
the standard plate will have a gross of 2350kgs or there abouts but a HD option should have 2600kgs..

Its quite a rare option, so I dont expect anyone to respond really...

My factory Westy states GVW as 2460KG on the chassis plate. I believe Westys had heavier duty suspension from new to cope with the camping kit, but not certain

Nope, they come with boggo Blue front springs and bog stock yellow yellow rears, or sometimes blue.

I have one set of browns at work, unsure what they came off though.

Mine were all brown springs when I removed `em Simon (brown rust)
