Heater core leaks...

Anyone got any bright ideas how to fix a very slight leak in the heater core... so small can't really tell where it's coming from, the base is just wet when I pump water through it... took it off as the cab kept filling up with steam half the winter...

Even tried to buy a new one from a "rad-repairer" for 90e, as he said they couldn't fix it... turns out he can't even get one... Didn't even bother asking VW... Now I'm thinking rad-weld and pressure cookers??

Any advice anyone... Thanks...

I've got one here any ready out of the blower but postage to Finland is gonna be silly
Do you have any breakers in Finland (silly question i know) ,
Does anyone know if golf/passat or indeed any other VW ones are the same size ?

the complete heater assy was still available from VW.. but you may be able to get one from GSF in the uk.. or have a word with Irwin (syncro4wd on this forum) in sweden.

I think the price from the dealers for the complete asy would probably be more than I paid for the van....

I'll try GSF anyway... Thanks
