Plug in and go?

After months of sorting out engine probs and other teething troubles we are desperate for a weekend away and are off to the Lakes this weekend.

We want to use an electric hook-up on site but we haven't got round to getting any of the interior checked out.

I'm not sure how anything works as we don't have a manual. If I plug into the hookup do I need to flick a switch somewhere? Or is it just a plug in and go set up?

We have a 1986 autohomes komet.

Cheers, Rachel

You should have a box somewhere that resembles a mini version of your home fuse box. There will be circuit breakers fitted, and each breaker will have a flick switch. switch them off before plugging in and then switch on individually. There may also be a polarity warning light. If this illuminates get a qualified electrician to check it out.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your weekend away.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give that a go tomorrow.
