How will the increase in tax affect an old (Y Reg) Range Rover, which has been converted to run on liquid petroleum gas (LPG)?
If your car has been converted and has appropriate documentation (eg LPGA conversion certificate), it will be taxed on the basis of its certified carbon dioxide emissions. If your car is pre-2001, old rates will apply.
Be aware that the Government is increasing fuel duty rates for LPG rates from 12.21p per kg to 16.49p per kg, a rise of 4.28p per kg. So filling up your tank will cost more.

still none the wiser

:tsk Mark Tha should know by now that they'll not give you owt back ... daft lad :) The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away

This (and any other) Government's 'Green Credentials' are a one-way street ... out of your wallet and into theirs.
