Holes in floor

Hi,

I have had a spring clear (rip) out of the camper I bought last November. Under the old cooker and sink units was disgusting and moldy so the whole lot has been skipped. The carpet has be taken out too which had some lovely mushrooms sprouting. Under the sink unit there is a couple of holes to the outside through the floor of the vehicle which currently still have pipes attached. I think one was for the sink content disposal and the other for a water tank feed. My plan is to renew the carpet then build firstly a rock n roll bed in the back. Does anyone have any ideas what one must do with these holes? Do they need to be sealed shut in a special manner. I should point out on the other side under where the gas cooker was, there is a hole but with some gauze over the top as if it was redundant from a previous fit or something.

Many thanks in advance.

p.s. One of the holes is about the size of a 10 pence piece and the other slightly larger.

The hole with the gauze on is there just in case the gas leaks, acts as a vent.

If your planning on putting the cooker back in, don't fill the hole.

I wasn't planning on putting any of the things back in at the moment as I won't use the van that much. I am thinking about it more from a MOT point of view.

Cheers

I think the only holes you need to worry about for an MOT are any within 300mm of the suspension mountings - any body work along the outside of the van, in wheel arches and may be chasis, that has rotted out.
