Hi

i have some black marks & spots on my alloys and I was wondering if anyone has any tips or any home made concoxtions they have used successfully to clean up their alloys?

I had a quick look in the wiki & through posts but could not find anything.

Wheels are on the van.

Wonderwheels from halfords brings alloys up mint. If not to dirty, try Flash Excell liquid, works great on my bikes wheels, shifts all the brake dust and doesn`t harm the paint

The black marks are probably tar based from the road and remove easily with white spirit then get on clean n polish em..

I've used car wax/polish before and a bit of elbow grease. Wheels look great when wet as the water bobbles like on your paint
