AFN waterpump pully rubs

ok did my conversion 15 years ago maybe , then engine died last year , i now have a replacement engine running and now swapping parts over noticed my flat pully on water pump rubber the cam cover away and when i fit pully to engine it rubs the cover lol
so wrong cover ? wrong pully , space pully , different pully ? cut cover ? let it rub till it stops lol .. i did try and search but not found much found someone did a spacer , but then my aligment looks ok really .. but i guess just a mm wont be bad
