Since Russel (Russel's Garage, Inchmore, Inverness) has stopped working on T3s I have had to utilise a couple of nearby garages for repair and maintenance work I am unable to do myself. To be fair these garages are ok, but as busy operations they need to get vehicles through as quick as possible and sometimes I can see that attention to detail has suffered.

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic or garage that understands our vans up here along the Moray coast or surrounding area?

I've got a new fuel tank to fit and given that I only have on street parking and I'm getting too old and knackered  to crawl under the van I need some help!

Blimey! No replies. I know that resident T3s are thin on the ground up here - so it looks like it's the local garage for the tank swap.

The forum itself is very quiet now cf years ago.
Combined with a qu on a rare vehicle in a remote part of the uk .... gonna be hard to get a recommendation.

Not many garages now want to take on work - you need old school mechanics - again become less and less. Garages want to charge rates of a Dr and just do in and out jobs (oil change). A blocked lift is blocking easy money.
