Rear Glass Leaking

I removed NS rear and slide door glass for minor bodywork repairs and roller painting.
Glass back in. Hellish downpour this morning and found the rear is leaking. Slide door glass fine and dry.

What is the latest cure for this, please? I did reuse seals. But they are in great condition.

Hopefully we have moved on from using Captain Tolley's! Never had any success with that product.

Thank you.

Stuart

A bead of Sika Lastomer 710 non setting sealant in the "metal side" of the seals when fitting will cure it. Other sealants are available, but sika 710 is easiest to clean up, just leave it a couple of days and any excess will ball up and peel off like blu tac.

Thanks for the advice Cobblers.
So apply to metal side of seal and fit immediately.
Then it can be cleaned up in a few days time.

Cheers and much appreciated.
