Silly Title? Maybe but over the weekend I saw a friend with a stunning Looking dark blue 1990 Diesel Hi-top Westy.
But on closer inspection there were rust issues that are sound on my own T3. From experience the later the T3 the rustier they get!
Is it the water cooling?
Is it the vibes from the diesel engine?

Living near the sea makes vehicles rust quicker. So does not giving them a good waxing.

Buying a van thats seen alot of wet weather driving on roads that have been salted then not using that van much will end up very rusty underneath, my ex UK caravelle will be having a full chassis rebuild in years to come, the Multivan needs that aswell but i cant afford to do both.

How does your camper rust? With extraordinary enthusiasm.
This is very true. Even when living half a mile from the sea front. It affects the painted exterior of nearby houses too.
I mean, who would want to live by the sea... and own a T25?
