Strut size for 1984 t25

Hi, im revamping the old heavy wood holdsworth roof on my t25 and forgot to measure the old struts, can anyone tell me the length and newtons required for a canvas roof...
-alternatively id like to use spring scissor/canopy lifters but cant find them in this country or europe, breha are the best but delivery is v expensive and ebay too risky for returns, where can i find an alternative hinge (900-1200mm) wide ive tried the usual suspects of proud to pop etc to no avail second hand ones or tailor made will do.....
