Our injection pump is starting to show signs of wear and so a rebuild is probably going to be necessary in the near future.

I’m aware that Reg Cheeseman was the go-to person to get this done in previous years, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen any reference to his services. Does anyone know if he is still working on these pumps, and if not then does anyone have any particular recommendations?

Reg done mine about a year ago. He just is not in the forum often.

I used DIESEL BOB , he’s based in Preston .  Very good service , I took my old one off the van and sent it to him I got it back about two weeks later like brand new . It was about 4 years ago  I bought dti gauge etc to get it all spot on , new cambelt etc at same time .
The pump cost about £450 at the time . Very good to deal with …

Sadly the condition of the cores being returned to us now means a lot of them are scrap. we had 4-5 cores in circulation. We're down to one now (same as Sycro Prop shafts)
I have a pump left here but it cost us an absolute fortune to get rebuilt to the point of it sitting on the desk as if I list it with a modest mark up customers will have kittens at the retail on it.
I've sent a load of "scrap" pumps to another company to see if they are indeed scrap or if they can be rescued in any way but I don't think we'll be offering them anymore, we can't.
Trouble is we rely on the cores coming back to be rebuildable and at a good level knowing that they will go out the door and not come back. we've sent good pumps out and only recieving scrap in return.
