Advice on LPG adaptor vs new underslung tank

Hi. I'm not sure which is the right forum but I'm seeking advice on LPG for the cooker & fridge for a February 1985 T3 Westfalia Joker (1.9 L petrol engine). I have an underslung tank with the original german thread. I was told I needed a 1 ¾ inch ACME to UK/Dutch bayonet adapter.  However, I havn’t been able to source one from the usual outfits. When I contacted Gasit and Autogas I was basically told they were out of stock & unlikely to get more and they suggested replacing the tank. So firstly, do you think this is the correct adapter & does anyone know where I can source one? If not would you go with the Gaslow or Gasit tanks and are there any fitters you can recommend near Cirencester/ Cheltenham/Swindon? I also have a disconnected petrol Erbacher unit so I was thinking about fitting a propex HS2800 with a GOK or Cavagner regulator at some stage and it might be sensible to get this fitted at the same time?? What would you advise please.  many thanks for your help. Nick   links to photos below;
