Silly Question (probably) - Applying Captain Tolley's

As a temp fix for a slight front-end leak I'm gonna try some Captain Tolley's round the screen. Can't see any bubbling or visible gaps where water could be coming in - but it is.
What I can't figure out is whether to apply it between the seal and the glass or the seal and the body - both??
Yes I'm an idiot - but I'm trying to not be.

In my experience it is always water getting behind the seal and sitting in the lower corners on the steel work that rots them out. Not always visible from outside. So if you are going to pump in sealant then between the seal and body would be my first choice.
You will have to try and dry the area out first I guess, I just looked up the stuff you plan to use, I feel like you may have to give it several goes as it looks very thin and may not seal it first go.
To give you an idea of what you could be up against. Here is mine. View from inside with the screen out.

Yeah I've seen that's more than likely. I've looked behind what I can pricing the seal up from outside and as far as I can before I hit dash on the inside. Looks clean all the way into the corners but can't see the horizontal parts.
Might try Arbormast rather than the captain's goop if it's more likely to succeed?

I’ve used it in the past. It will only creep into where it’s needed so just run a tiny bead around the rubber to the metal and it’ll flow into any gaps.

Ive used Arbomast Autograde many years ago. nasty sticky stuff but that's the point really. Cured the leak (although the van has been under cover for the past 9 (
) years.
