Working under the van I keep getting hit in the face by a little plastic box swinging about in the middle of the speedo cable... I'm about to bolt it up out of the way but just wondering what it's for?

It's about 3 inches square and has a label of Kienzle 2152-10. Guessing it's something to convert the Speedo drive to the dash clock signal? Speedo works relatively well with a clip on the cable end so not going to go undoing it unnec...

From Google.

The Kienzle 2152-10 refers to a specialized mechanical drive unit (Antrieb) designed for taximeters and tachographs, with specific models manufactured around 1990. These units are designed for West German, industrial-grade speed recording equipment (as seen in this Etsy listing), often used for regulating and registering vehicle speeds and times.
