1.6 JX diesel . I need a new starter battery . The existing battery came with the van , it’s not the proper one by the looks of it . It doesn’t fill the battery space . It’s a 70ah . 
Does anyone know the correct modern day battery to fit ?

278x175x175mm the original physical size. It was 62Ah by factory, nowadays it is a 65-72A depending the manufacturer.
I use Exide EA722.  

IIRC 315x175x190mm size fits, just barely.
