Spares or repair T25

Folks,
I have a T25 camper 89.
Head gasket has gone, not sure how bad yet or if repairable using gasket sealant (put in coolant). Also the hydraulic cycliner leaks for the clutch. The body work isnt that great so I think it may be time to call it a day for the camper
In two minds whether to sell as Spares or repair or try fixing myself. At the moment tempted to gamble with gasket sealant but if that bungs up the coolant system then thats not good and may effect any value on the parts etc.
Anyone been in the situation were its 50/50 ?
Anyone ever used the gasket sealant, at least with that I may get more life out of it but would have to be careful planning trips (AA cover though so not a lost cause).
Just looking for general thoughts.
