I had a sliding door runner fitted badly a few years back and I have decided to swap it out.
Any advice on removal and where I can get one from. Thanks

Get a pal to help. I used blocks of wood on a trolley jack to take the weight off it's hinges.

I see your van is an 'early' type, so early door runner.
From memory, these runners are no longer commercially available...
At least for the last four or five years.
The late runners can be obtained, but will not fit your van and door.
Try sending a pm to Plasticman on here.
I am sure Mick can point you in the right direction.

Call it being a very happy customer, Mick.
Here is mine trial fitted.
One hole front and another at the back...
We are both good thanks, and the car is fixed too.
It was good to meet you and your good lady.
I hope you are both doing well.
Best wishes,
Rob.

So the $1000 question, I have been fixing cars, suspension, clutches, gearboxes, electrics etc for a while now but never welded. As there is no one near me that wants to take on the task, I was thinking of getting a cheap stick welder off TEMU.
Handheld Welder with IGBT Inverter 20 -120A
Also a better
auto darkening helmet then in the KIT
Thoughts?
