Relocated Oil Pressure Switch

I bought this Brickwerks product last year. But failed to set it up properly. And now have forgotten what is what.
Am l right the oil pressure sender unit needs an additional earth to engine case?
I intend to fit an electronic/electric oil pressure gauge in the drivers' area.
Should l use PTFE tape on the joins. Or some sealant.
This is on my newly rebuilt 2.1, going in the camper this weekend.

It should earthy through the braided hose to the crank case.
We know the VDO gauges aren't cheap but the senders do have the beauty of having both contacts on them negating the need for extra adapters and switches, most aftermarket senders tend to be stupid American 1/8"NPT, yes, it's close to M10x1.0 but sometimes not close enough.

Hi Simon,
I have been sussed! :D
Yes, the relocation kit is Brickwerks. But the sender unit and cockpit gauge were given to me by a fellow forum user.
Again, not using the full Brickwerks kit may well be my undoing.
Thanks

Leaks at the fixing between the pushrods?

For now l'm just going to use it to relocate the oil switch. Then I'll add a electric gauge at a later stage.
