Pierburg accelerator pump leaking

I noticed evidence of a slow leak around the accelerator pump on my pierburg 2e3 - it looks like it's been slowly weeping for a while. Is the pump diaphragm from brickwerks likely the thing I need to fix it?

Sorry about the terrible picture!Image

Should be if it’s leaking from the cover. Easy to change or just whip off the cover and have a look at the diaphragm. Two sizes available- long or short.

Or try tightening the four screws to see if it stops leaking.

Yes @maxstu that just occurred to me too! I've ordered the diaphragm from Brickwerks as part of the carb rebuild kit which seems sensible to carry in the running spares.

If it does need the new diaphragm can I do that in place or is it a carb off job?

Do it in place - takes 5 minutes.
