Can someone out there please help me???
I have got hold of a set of clocks including a rev counter and after putting them in the rev counter does not work in my van!
I have been asured the rev worked before it was shipped to me!
The van i have is the same as the one it came out of(1.6 turbo diesel)
Can any one help me try and find out why its not working?
Im in Manchester so if any one near can i come and pick your brains?
If you send me your phone number i will ring you!
Any help is appreciated!!!!
Thanks Rob.

im afraid its not just a case of plug and play
you need to find afeed from the back of the alternator and swop it with one of the wires (sorry cant remember which one)

It is just plug and play because the buzzer of doom needs an engine speed signal, this is taken from the alternator and is already in the multiplug as the buzzer of doom uses it.

Simon,
This is not the one from Dr Dub this is another one from CJ at syncro.
He said he had seen it working in the van he stole (removed) it from!
So the question is still...
Are they realy plug and play or am i missing the important bit?
Sukhoi i will try and get over the hill to Mac...
Will have to come the long way round dont fancy Long Hill or Cat and Fiddle in the van....too many corners.
Can you send me your number on PM so i can try and sort out meeting up?
Thanks Rob

look on the back of your alternator and look for terminal marked W this is the feed for the tacho,if someones exchanged the alternator for one without this terminal then its not sending the signal, and to answer ALL MY REV COUNTERS WORK WHEN DRIVEN IN VANS,.cj.

red wire with black trace going into the loom by the expansion tank, unless someones removed it because of buzzer of doom.
