Does a CT engine use Type 1 main bearings?

I have a 1980 T25 with a CT 1600 engine and I have to split the engine cases so I thought that I should replace the main and cam bearings but I am in Canada and none of the part suppliers have any knowledge of this engine. So before split the cases I want to make sure I can get parts. So does the CT use type 1 engine bearings?
Thanks

Hey there im no expert but I saw the 1600cc T2 have the same type bearings if that helps.
Found this on my local dealers webpage:
”CRANKSHAFT MAIN BEARING SET, +0.50 MM CRANKCASE SIDE / +0.50 MM CRANKSHAFT SIDE, 1.6L Aircooled VW T2 AND VW T3 ENGINES”
Good luck & keep on truckin’

Well I don’t have to split the cases. The reason that I thought I would have to split the cases was I had a tappit that went bad and I could not get it out using a strong magnet. What I ended up doing was using a drywall screw and screwing it in to the oil transfer hole in the top of the lifter. Then using pliers I was able to pull it out. I found that the lifter had a slight mushroom to it and there was no damage to the lifter bore.
Yes I have looked at Sarran1955 videos.
