I have a fairly heavy gauge solid green wire fallen off the back of an early 1983 type 25 fuse box. It think it may have come from fuse position 9 or 11. My Haines diagram is not helping and it could be my lack of interpretation. Any suggestions very welcome thanks

I am not aware of any circuit in the van that has a heavy green wire.

Maybe it is a retro-fit item.

Hello Howard I will try to take a look later today- I have a 1980 but I don’t recall a heavy duty green wire from memory I’m afraid

I’m sure now because because the brass terminal on the way refuse 11 is shiny and all the others are dirty that this did go on the back of fuse 11. I also think the colour of this wire has been changed. Doing some testing, when I connect this wire up to the back of fuse 11 and with the ignition on or engine running voltage is sent to the leisure battery for charging if I pull the wire no voltage you sent to the leisure battery wires whether the ignition is off on or engine running. incidentally, with the wire connected and the ignition off oh.4 V you’re still presented on the leisure battery terminals I wonder if this could be a dirty terminal in the relay or whether it matters at all so in summary my charging circuit of the leisure with battery seems to work just with the ignition on or the engine running. Not sure if this is correct wondering if this clarifies whether this wire should indeed be connected as I’ve said to fuse 11.?
