Recommendations please. I've tried the Durite hexagonal ones (6 tools) and they are poor.
I need tubular ones as well as straight/flat type.
Quality over cost, cheap always lets you down.

Many years of work without any problem.
 

my mate has a snap on set, half of them have snapped, they are very delicate to get into tiny spaces, i dont think quality or cost is the issue i think they are just tiny and easy to break, i have the hex one which i used plenty of times until i broke it recently

Straight ones are easy to make yourself using the stainless steel reinforcement bars that are in the rubber part of the original type wiper blades, like the Bosch ones fitted to our vans and you get two lengths per old wiper that you otherwise throw away, you can file them to shape and thickness if needed, weld them together and modify to shape if you need something a bit thicker and you can use two in places where the proper tool would be a double pronged thing, tbf for the simplest ones a thin but strong jewellers screwdriver works ok, and they can be fully repurposed by filing and shaping should you be minded

The cheap set of 40 plus tools on a link chain will give you a set of the round tools that will work but most of the rest of the set are pretty worthless, but for very occasional use the round ones are ok I have found

I'll hold on to my wallet until the parcel lands then!

I was eyeing up the larger Laser set which can be had for proper tools money but they do have nice blue alloy handles

I've found this one works better than most tubular tools for the Molex-style central locking connectors. It's probably not going to last too long if you're doing this regularly but for occasional use, at £18 it beats the pro tool £120+ pricing.

Andy also directed me to a VAG/Porsche VAS 1978/6 tool on ebay which for £20 odd quid I had to buy
