Hi there,

does anyone have some good recommendations for a new main battery for T25 2.0 cu Aircooled.
I saw an old post back in 2018 for a bosch 065 S5.
I can’t seem to find one for sale.
Any recommendations for a readily available similar.

Thanks

J

the five year warranty Bosch's weren't actually very good in my experience,
Yuasa 3000 or even the 1000 seem to be better than the Bosch in my experience

The lifespan of the battery is 95% influenced by how you treat it, and 5% by the quality of the battery (ignoring a few outliers). You could spend £200 on a battery but if you let it go flat even once, it's been damaged and it's capacity and future lifespan is greatly reduced.
I've had good experiences with Bosch S5 batteries, and Varta Silver. I've got a bosch S5 on my Doka and it does get a bit of a hard life - van is stood a lot, there's a tracker draining it and when I do use the van I've got a winch and stuff which is a very heavy load.

I always fit a type 100 on a T25, it's absolutely the largest you'll fit under the seat with the lid on. About £90 delivered from Tayna.co.uk

Yep
Yuasa in mine for both Vehicle and Leisure batteries.
Excellent quality, not bad prices.
:ok

Hi,
I’ve had good luck with the Bosch S4 065 or the Varta Blue Dynamic 065 as solid alternatives. Both are readily available and work well with the T25 2.0 air-cooled.
