New Tyre Size (Mercedes 16" Alloys)

I bought some Mercedes Alloy's years ago and got all the parts (from Brickwerks) to mount them properly. I never got round to fitting the appropriate (commercial) rated tyres on them though, so after respraying them recently, it's time to get the tyres replaced.
I'm just struggling to work out the best size though. And I've noticed some people get bigger sizes in the rear too.
My Alloy's are: 7x16. I was originally thinking of using 215/60/16 all round.
I've not changed the springs (replaced all 4 shocks last year), so i'm pretty sure everything should be the original spec. Would appreciate any info though.
Cheers.
Here's some pictures of the wheels and tyres currently mounted on my van (current tyres are 205/55/16):

It'd depend on your engine and clearance. If you've not got much power (stock engine) then might be best to not increase your size much. I have 215/65/16 and did run them on my old DH for a while (marginally more hp than a Dg) engine with a 5 speed and it was ok actually, just keeping revs high enough. Theyre 27" diameter. Stronger engine and less of an issue.
Hard to tell on clearance though, all vans seem to sit a bit differently.

Ps use a tyre calculator to compare the diameters you're thinking !

215/60 ×16" will be fine, slightly larger overall circumference than standard.
I have the same size wheel/tyres on my van and the speedo is almost spot on with gps reading.
Just make sure there's enough clearance on the front top steering joint, what ET are the wheels?

16x225x65 on mine for years , but i have 5mm spacers on the front all standard suspension. Any wider and the sliding doors catch the rears

Similar wheels on my bus, I have 205/60-16 tyres all round.

A bit dirtier than yours but in daily use.

I run Merc steels on mine ET41, have 10mm spacers all round and 205 tyres otherwise the insides of the tyres rub on the front.

That's excellent, knowing that the speedo should be spot on with this size is definitely a plus.
ET is 37 on mine. Brickwerks recommended 6mm spacers, so I had them fitted all round.

Same here, 5mm spacers all round with ET 37, old Granny wheels, they'll be fine.
