Anyone run one?

I have a 2Kw one to fit.

For years I bought a number of kenlowe hot starts but never got round to fitting them. But when I bought My first 2002 Jaguar S-Type V. 8 I got hold of a Genuine Block Heater Kit. It did a great job and 15 mins on a cold morning had it HOT to TROT.  Bought a kit to fit my later S-Type but being Lazy never fitted it..

So I have this Russian or whatever heater to fit to Maisie as idealy she's an all year car and defrosting and cold weather running/economy/wear are a concern.

Just interested if anyone has one of these cheap kits.

I still have 3 Kenlowe HS's kicking arround but I think technology has moved on.

I dont have one yet but am thinking about it. The poor old diesel doesn't really want to start below freezing (glow plugs might also be poorly). I would really be interested in your findings if you decide to go for it! I'm assuming this is one of those diesel ones you plumb into a coolant hose?
