Evening all !! Anybody got any experience with waterproof covers. I’m looking to purchase

A good wax is a lot better than a cover IMO.

It will be getting a good seal in the next few weeks aswel. Was more from tree sap etc as we are near a lake & a lot of trees.

I've got a maypole breathable cover on my Westie.... been using this type of cover for the last 10 years....keeps off all the harsh weather.

Looked at the maypole. Think water resistant not waterproof but maybe will do a job.

I've got the Just Kampers one, 3rd winter now and it seems OK.

I've just bought my 2nd Go Outdoors waterproof breathable cover.
3 straps underneath 3 straps at the back and 2 zips for easy side access. I do put an elasticated rope with bits of pipe insulation on to protect the middle corners from the rubbing caused in winy conditions and to help air it.

I have a just campers one too. It's lasted for years, mostly because it doesn't fit! Pretty sure it's the same as a bay window T2. The seam down the windscreen edge is curved, not straight like a T25. Also it will only fit over one bumper at a time, front OR back, but not both. They are standard bumpers, not the big ones.
Quality of the material however is great, and the stitching copes with being stretched over a van far to big for it!

Strange, ours fit fine.

I assume the right hand one is a JK? The other looks different and lacks the side zips. I'll dig mine out and fit it for a photo. Yours looks like a good snug fit.

Both JK but they now do one without zips which is £25 cheaper, I never used the zips on mine once so when I needed a second cover I opted for the plain one, less leak points and chance of stitching failure was my thinking.

Van at the front is fitted with big bumpers so fits those as well, both poptops.

Just to add I have the JK type which fits pretty well and has lasted a few winters now. The advice in practical classics (!) is to remove the cover in good weather to allow to dry out better if it's a breathable type like mine. Sorry about the sucking eggs!
